What is DeepAPI?
DeepAPI exists for a future where AI agents use 99.9% of software and do most of the work. The models are already smart. They still lack basic access to the internet.
DeepAPI starts with one simple belief:
Soon enough, agents will be the ones using 99.9% of software.
They will do the research. Write the code. Send the emails. Run the operations. Manage the tools. Most software will be used by an agent on behalf of a person, not clicked through by the person themselves.
The models are already smart enough for this future.
What they lack is access.

Fable is already smarter than most people on the street. So are many of the best AI models.
But the average person on the street can still use the internet better.
A normal person has an email address. A phone number. A bank account. They can create an account, receive a verification code, pay for something, access a website, and contact another person.
Most agents have none of that.

An agent can reason better than a person while still being far less capable online.
The brain is there. The ability to act is not.
When you install Codex or Claude Code, OpenAI and Anthropic give you a very intelligent agent.
They do not give it powerful website scraping. They do not give it powerful deep research. They do not give it an email address, a phone number, or a bank account.
So the agent can understand the work, but it often cannot actually do the work.
DeepAPI exists to close that gap.
