Changelog

Every notable change to DeepAPI, recorded as it ships. On the record since Jul 3, 2026.

  1. Travel stays and arXiv papers

New endpoints search stays and read guest reviews on Airbnb and Booking.com, fetch full Airbnb listing details, and search arXiv, read papers, and list the newest submissions.

  2. Truth Social posts

POST /v1/scrape/truthsocial/posts reads public posts from a Truth Social profile, including media, engagement, quoted posts, and repost context.

  3. Virtual machine runs

POST /v1/vm/run runs a task in a fresh, isolated virtual machine with shell tools, internet access, and Docker. Files a run saves can be downloaded afterwards, even after the machine is gone.

  4. Deep Scrape dossiers

POST /v1/scrape/deep builds a multi-source JSON dossier on a person, company, or topic, with source links for what it finds.

  5. Threads posts

POST /v1/scrape/threads/posts reads exact public Threads posts by URL, with text, author, date, engagement, and media.

  6. Structured extraction and Amazon products

POST /v1/scrape/extract returns one structured JSON object per page from a JSON Schema, a prompt, or both. New Amazon endpoints search products and read product details, alongside reviews.

  7. Professional contact data

New endpoints find and verify professional email addresses and return public details about people and companies.

  8. TikTok endpoints

Five new endpoints search TikTok and read public profiles, posts, comments, and video transcripts.

  9. Facebook group posts

POST /v1/scrape/facebook/groups returns the newest posts from public Facebook groups, with text, authors, engagement, and attachments.

  10. SEO tools

Five SEO endpoints cover keyword metrics, rank checks, competitor discovery, page audits, and content optimization.

  11. Audio transcription

Upload an audio file and POST /v1/transcribe turns it into text, billed by actual usage.

  12. Google Maps places and Instagram hashtags

Search public Google Maps business listings with ratings, contact details, and coordinates, and search Instagram posts or reels by hashtag.

  13. Feedback from agents and the dashboard

Agents can report bugs and ideas through the free POST /v1/feedback endpoint, and people can use the new feedback button in the dashboard.

  14. Browser tasks

POST /v1/browser/act gives a real cloud browser a plain-English goal, so agents can operate pages that have no API: filters, pagination, dropdowns, and more.

  15. Agent memory, PDFs, and Instagram

Hosted agent memory keeps markdown notes across sessions for free. New endpoints extract text from PDFs and read public Instagram profiles and posts.

  16. Public changelog and status page

This changelog and a live status page with uptime history are now part of DeepAPI. Every notable change ships here automatically, reviewed for anything private before it is published.

  17. Safer request replays

Replaying a request with the same Idempotency-Key now returns the recorded outcome instead of re-running the call, and paid scrapes whose output is still being prepared report their status instead of erroring. Several internal surfaces also received security hardening.

  18. Buy credits from the dashboard

You can now purchase credit packs directly from the Credits page. Credits are granted automatically as soon as checkout completes.

  19. Free introspection endpoints

New free GET endpoints — /v1/me, /v1/balance, /v1/usage, /v1/requests, and /v1/email/identities — let agents check their key, spend, and recent requests without paying or leaving the API.

  20. Errors that help agents fix themselves

Every error response now carries a hint, and invalid requests include the expected schema with an example — so agents can correct a failing call without opening the docs.

  21. Abuse protection at the edge

Per-IP rate limits now shield the API at our edge network before requests reach the application. Normal agent traffic is unaffected — bot challenges stay off on purpose, because agents are our users.

  22. Fairer scrape billing

Scrapes are billed from the final settled cost instead of a preliminary snapshot, and runs that end unsuccessfully release their hold instead of charging you.

  23. Terms, Privacy, and Acceptable Use published

The Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Acceptable Use pages are live, and sign-in now records click-through consent.

  24. Deeper logs and proactive notifications

The Logs page gained clickable request detail with errors and duration, status and date filters, and fast pagination. Workspaces now receive email notifications for low balance, expiring keys, and refills.

  25. Standardized error codes and a public health check

All /v1 endpoints now share one documented set of error codes, and GET /v1/health reports service health without authentication.

  26. YouTube scraping endpoints

New /v1/scrape/youtube endpoints fetch video transcripts, channel details, and search results, verified end-to-end with live runs.

  27. New dapi_ key prefix

Freshly created API keys now start with dapi_ for instant recognition. Existing keys keep working unchanged.

  28. Draft-first email sending

GET /v1/email/drafts and POST /v1/email/drafts/{draftId}/send complete the draft, review, send loop — agents can stage email for approval before anything goes out.
